There is a type of webcomic that I almost want to call a subcategory. But most webcomics you find on the interwebs can be hedged into one of these categories very nicely. This does not mean that new types of webcomics cannot emerge, that paradigms cannot shift, that this the definitive and authoritative list. Think: No Need for Boshido, Strays, or The Hunters of Salamanstra. Manga – Japanese style or influenced comic webcomics. Think: VG Cats, Awkward Zombie, and Penny Arcade.Ħ. Though you have to play the games to get these jokes. Video Game – Cool comics about the zenith of human entertainment. It’s okay if you like them, I won’t judge. Political – Lame comics about political jible-jable. Think: Housepets, Two Kinds, and Faux Pas.Ĥ. Still, good comis none the less no matter the fan base. But don’t worry, those furries have probably made porn of it anyways because that’s just what they do. Can be associated with the furry community, but not necessarily. Though, they for the most part have nothing to do with actual superheroes. Comic – Webcomics that are done in the style of more famous comics like Batman and Superman and Hulkman. They are funny for funny’s sake and should be able to be appreciated by all. Gag-a-day – Your typical run of the mill type of comics. In review, since we’ve been going at this for a little while now, I will list all of the type of webcomics we have covered so far and a brief summary of what they are.
